A grouping of trees in Autumn. Several are green with leaves, some are bare without leaves, but one stands out with bright red, orange and yellow leaves. It is the main photo for a blog post by Dawn Michelle Michals based on Psalm 139, which say, โ€œFor you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my motherโ€™s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.โ€

I have something for you.

Where I live, Fall doesn’t seem to happen.

We literally go from green and full to bare — a carpet of dead leaves the only remnant of our autumn.

And it tends to happen overnight, and I miss the entire thing.

Until today.

I saw this tree on my neighbors lawn. Sticking out in the midst of evergreens and leafless trees.

A gorgeous spectacle standing out.

Being different.

Totally unique.

And, I wanted to tell you one thing…

You are this tree.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

You are exactly who God created you to be.

You are exactly how God created you to be.

Believe it. ๐Ÿ’–

I want to leave you with Psalm 139:13-14.

โ€œFor you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my motherโ€™s womb.

Realize who you are in Christ today. And, live powerfully as you walk in it.
