Fun fact:

Did you know that as soon as you became a Christ follower you were RECREATED?

You became a new creation. A totally brand new you. It says so in 2 Corinthians 5:17:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

I want you to take that in today. These words written by Paul and Timothy to the church in Corinth tell us that when we accept Jesus into our hearts, the old is gone. That old person. The sin we lived in. The yuck we lived in. It is all forgotten. Completely and totally forgotten.

And we are made new in Christ Jesus our Lord.
