Hi! I’m Chelle! And way back when I began my writing career, I worked full time in corporate America. The 9am to 6pm, with an hour commute there and a 45-minute commute home type of job.

Then I added a dog and cat rescue to the mix. Yes, a rescue. Think five dogs and four momma kitties and their babies in my house at all times. Plus, the weekly rescue events and all the business of helping dozens and dozens of fur babies find their forever homes. It was a blessing for its season and was, as you may have guessed, a full-time job on its own.

Then, because I didn’t have enough to do (note my sarcasm here), I moved back to my tiny hometown in Texas to become a mom, then a homeschooling mom. Then a foster mom.

I like to keep myself busy. Obviously.

In the middle of all this, I won two Associated Church Press Awards for journalism, wrote and published my first devotional book, 6 Days with Matthew 6, launched my first serial story The Secrets of Claymore Castle on the now-no-longer Kindle Vella (watch for updates on this on my blog!) and added four more devotionals to the mix.
