What if we allow God to take control of today?

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~ Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

I know it’s hard to think about. All of the plans we concoct for ourselves.

To go to the store.

Pick up the dry cleaning.

Drive by the pharmacy.

We tick items off our to-do lists wasting our lives with one mundane to-do task after another.

What would it be like if we did the unthinkable?

What if we wadded that list up and threw it away?

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Matthew 7:13‭-‬14 NIV

Our lives are narrow opportunities. You can call it fate if you’d like. But, have you ever felt that nudge in your stomach that who just had to be somewhere?

Or, that nudge that you needed to leave?

What if, today, we allowed these nudges to guide our way?

What if we allowed God to take control of our day?

Would it be filled with the every-day, boring junk we “need” to do?

Or, would it be ravaged by grace and filled with opportunities, chance meetings and God-ordained fun?

Proverbs 2:8 says, “for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.” (NIV)

He guards Our course. He knows the plans He has for you.

What if God has a plan for you to get to Italy today? But, you are too busy folding your underwear?

Be bold. Be free. Be who GOD created YOU to be!

I double-dog-dare-ya to throw your list away today and see what God has in store. Let me know all the magical things that happened in the comments below!

Until next time my lovelies! I love y’all! Jesus loves you! And, He wants you to have the BEST. LIFE. EVER.
