Just Ask – Does God tell us things we don’t know?

I have something to tell you.

I’m really in to being close to God this days.

I know. I know. I’m always into being close to God. But something has changed.

I feel I’m going deeper into the scriptures if that makes any sense.

I was chatting with a friend the other day, and they said that reading the scriptures was too confusing. They didn’t understand what most of them mean.

Have you been there? I sure have!

I’ve read the Bible and said, “What the heck does this mean?” more times than I can count. But I know one things for sure…

I asked God to take me deeper into His Word and into a relationship with Him and…

He. Sure. Is. Doing. It.

And He will do that for you too. I promise. Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV) says:

“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

He will tell you Himself and put resources in your path to help you out. If you want to know God’s Word, just ask Him. He’s good like that.

I like Bible.com and their YouVersion Bible app. I like to use my phone since it is always near me. That way I can read the Bible where ever I am. I’ve been thinking about getting a physical Bible. Like a real study Bible because I want to write and take notes and highlight the heck out of it! But I haven’t seen one I like yet.
