šŸ’„āœ”ļø Something Big is Coming Soon…

So…

I’ve been thinking about something.

You know…

It’s that time of year where things start winding down.

We take things slower.

More intentionally.

Or we try to anyway. I try to anyway.

It’s also that time of year that I realize one thing…

Brace yourself. I’m about to tell you something so impactful it may make you fall out of your chair or worse–Spill your coffee!

We are 20 days until the New Year. 2025 will be here before we know it.

And with a New Year, I like to begin new things. Not resolutions per se, but new projects, new goals (both personal and business) and a new, revitalized commitment to growing with God.

It’s the perfect time to pray and get ready. For me it’s the perfect time for a reboot. A time for fresh starts. New beginnings. An epic flip of the calendar page to not only experience a new month but to be in a whole new year.

It’s the perfect time for me to start a new devotional or Bible reading plan. Do you have a favorite Bible app? I like the one by YouVersion because I know they have thousands of reading plans that I can start whenever I feel I need a more structured time with God. I also like them because they offer so many specific topics, I could have a new devotional any time I want on Faith, Hope, Anxiety, Grief, Marriage, Parenting, YOU NAME IT. I also like that they have short versions of only a few days, to a week, to even a full year!

Can you imagine?!?! Beginning a new devo on January 1 and finishing it on December 31?!

That seems like a lot of commitment to me.

🤣

Don’t get me wrong. I want to spend every moment of my time awake and focused on God’s teachings, but I also know that God made me a Mom, Wife, Daughter and Writer for a reason.

That’s why I write short, quick-read devotionals. Whether I’m already doing a Bible Study and I want to add some more time with God, or I’m having a busy day of wearing all those hats we wear and I’m just too tired to focus, I know that I always want to dedicate some time to God. No matter how long. God is numero uno.

I know it isn’t always easy to make God my priority like I want Him to be. LIFE, right?!? But, His Word says in Matthew 6:33 that if we “Seek his kingdom first, and his way of living right, and everything will be given to you.” (FBV) And that sounds pretty fantastic to me!

If you’d like to check out the devotionals I currently have available, here’s myĀ author page link.*Ā You’ll see everything in one place AND all of my eBooks are 99 cents! Please be sure to follow me when you get there. That way, you’ll receive a notification from Amazon when I upload new content.

Until then,

~Chelle
