Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s go time!

In the US where I live its Thanksgiving Day– a day filled with family, thankfulness and a whole lotta food!

Btw, it’s an interesting time of year for a vegetarian.

But, don’t worry about me! I’m surrounding myself with vegetarian dressing, vegan mashed potatoes and some green bean casserole. Plus, some pumpkin pie!

I’ll be just fine!

Dawn Michelle Michals hold her hands up with a red oven mitt on her left hand and a teddy bear oven mitt on her right. She is extremely happy and smiling with her mouth open.

Wherever you live, be thankful today. Life is short and the world is…woo. Think on some good today.

And know I am thankful for you.

If it’s Thanksgiving where you are, or it’s just Thursday and you like to chat about yummy food,…

What’s your favorite thing to eat to celebrate?

Mine? Cranberry sauce of course! Jellied and straight from the can! (I like to slice it on the little lines the can makes.)

Please let me know your fave below! And, let’s start craving!

Happy Thanksgiving, y’all!

I leave you today with these words from The Message bible:

“Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” ~Colossians 3:15‭-‬17

  1. Happy Thanksgiving, Dawn! I’m thankful for a lot of things. My home, my wife, my dog, and cheesy mashed potatoes, mostly. I basically ate half the pan of cheesy mashed potatoes today at my mother in law’s house. She has perfected the recipe, that’s for sure.
