Let me tell you a little about 6 Days with Matthew 6 and why I wrote it.
To put it bluntly, it’s my favorite chapter in the Bible.
Why?
It’s everything we need to know about being a Christ follower in one place.
And, if you know me, I like to get straight to the point and not waste any time. Especially when it comes to learning about the heart of God.
In Matthew 6, Jesus tells us what we need to know about:
- Giving to others (How to do it biblically without looking like a jerk.)
- How to pray
- Why forgiveness is important
- The truth about fasting
- Where to find our true treasure
- The ins and outs of worry (Hint: It’s not what God wants for us.)
6 Days with Matthew 6 is perfect for a solo reflection or to share with your friends in a group study over coffee ☕or your favorite beverage. 🥂 (Hey! I don’t judge! ) It’s doable in 6 days, 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years. Okay, maybe that’s a stretch. But, this is YOUR journey, so you take however much time you need or want to reflect and grow through each passage. This book is about you and your journey.
My goal with 6 Days with Matthew 6 is to better understand and know the true will of the Father’s heart for us, to dig deeper into the word of God and to dig deeper into a relationship as the scripture says…
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
