I get that it’s the day after a national holiday where I’m from, but I truly believe that if I wasn’t pursuing anything about this open MRI absolutely nothing would be getting done about it.
So my question is…
How many people’s medical treatments are forgotten?
I wonder how many people don’t know who or where to call and their doctors stop working for them.
But, mostly I wonder how many people don’t have the MRI they need solely because of the costs.
…which pains me.
Terribly.
The costs of medical treatments in the United States are exorbitant. I think we all know–and I can say with confidence–the stories of someone going to Mexico for medications or procedures.
I am here today to take a stand for the sick, the friendless and the needy.
What do we need to do? Do you know? How is it where you live?
So, if anything this experience has put a fire under my booty. Not just for my own health ownership, but for all of us stuck in our nation’s health care system.
Today. I’m owning my healthcare. I’m questioning, calling and doing.
I’m taking a stand.
Let’s pray for those who need it today…
Heavenly Father, we need YOU. There are so many of us who cannot afford their healthcare; who don’t know where to turn. Please provide for us today. Answers. Money. Everything. We know you will if we simply ask. Today, we ask. Please provide for us everything we need. We love you, Lord. And, thank you. Amen.
